5 Day Sipi-Bushiyi Mt. Elgon Trek

Waking up early in the morning at Sipi falls accommodation and having your breakfast and the Boda Boda will take you upto the ranger gate at kapkwai exploration center, therefore you will be taken through the briefing as you meet the guides,potters and chef where you will be one family.
The 5day Mt.Elgon hike via Sipi is a challenging hike that is full of up and down and on the first day you will be hiking for 11kmto your first camp(TUtum).Have your lunch and dinner from the same camp and at the same time,you can visit one of the biggest cave with beautiful waterfalls where you will walk behind the cave and have both front and behind views of the cave.
During this 5days Mt Elgon hike, you will encounter both primary and secondary forests including the Bamboo forest.

Waking up in the early morning,have your breakfast at 6:00a:man’s start walking in the forest as you encounter many bird species with roaring sounds of the forest.The hike to the falls,next camp is 16km and its challenging.
During this full experience,you will be having some short breaks on the way as you also have lunch on some view points as you slope down to the next camp which is one of the coldest camp called Kajeri camp.
The camp is near Kajeri river which makes more colder hence making the experience more interesting.

Waking up in the early morning in Kajeri camp,have breakfast as you listen to the sounds of the water from the Kajeri river and birds.The hike and walk continues to the next camp while on the process of the hike you will see through many rivers and stunning view points.
During the process of the hike,you will be having many short breaks because the trail is up and down as you pass through one of the biggest caldera area in the whole word and its more beautiful which ignites your spirit of adventure waiting you to reach your next camp called Mangong rest camp

This is an exciting day of the entire experience of Mt.Elgon 5days hike.This hike is full of ups during the entire day as you will be hiking to the peak will roughly take about 2hours to the peak.
The hike to the Mt. Elgon will be a kilometer,at the peak you will be enjoying the stunning view of the mountain as you see the other side of keny.
While at the peak of mount Elgon which stands at 4321m above sea level,you will be able to see the highest peaks of the other side of Kenya like Katobos peak,after that,you will descend down to your next camp called DUBI camp which will be 9km

Waking up inthe early morning from DUBI camp, have an early morning breakfast and decent down for 10km to SHIRONKO camp where you will have lunch as you prepare your mind again to hike down for another 9km to the Ranger post where you will sign the check out book officially.
The boda Bodas will pick you out from the office of Uganda wildlife Authority and take you to the next hotel called River Rhine,Taxi park or your driver will pick you up either to Mbale or your next destination.
