Your journey takes you across the River Nile at Jinja and through the lush sugarcane plantations of the east. By afternoon, you’ll arrive in the cooler air of the foothills to check into your lodge. End the day with a light community walk or a short hike to one of the cascades, catching your first glimpse of the falls against the backdrop of the valley.

  • Activity: Scenic Transfer & Sunset Community Hike
  • Travel Time: 5–7 hours from Kampala/Entebbe

Day 2

Start your morning with a guided expedition to all three Sipi waterfalls. Trek through ancient caves and along rugged cliffs for panoramic views stretching across the Karamoja plains and the foothills of Mount Elgon. After lunch, immerse yourself in the “Bloom to Brew” coffee experience, where you’ll join a local farmer to harvest, roast, and grind your own world-class Arabica. Finish the day on a high note, watching a magical sunset paint the valley in gold.

  • Activity: Full Triple Waterfall Hike & Immersive Coffee Tour
  • Hike Duration: 3–5 hours (moderate difficulty)

Day 3

Bid farewell to the highlands and descend to Jinja, the adventure capital of East Africa. After a riverside lunch, board a boat to the historic Source of the Nile, where you’ll stand at the Speke Monument and witness the river begin its 6,000km journey. For the thrill-seekers, the afternoon offers optional quad biking, horseback riding, or a high-octane white-water rafting session along the Nile’s legendary rapids.

Day 4

Leave the Nile behind and head north towards Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest conservation area. The drive takes you through the scenic Karuma region, crossing the Nile once more as you enter the savanna. After checking into your lodge, head out for a sunset game drive. As the heat of the day fades, the park comes alive, offering your first sightings of elephants, Rothschild giraffes, Cape buffalo, and a variety of elegant antelopes.

  • Activity: Scenic Northern Transfer & Sunset Savanna Game Drive
  • Travel Time: 5–6 hours from Jinja

Day 5

Begin your day at dawn with a sunrise game drive across the northern bank. This is the best time to track predators like lions and leopards as they conclude their nightly hunts, alongside massive herds of elephants and hyenas. After a mid-morning break, swap the safari vehicle for a boat as you cruise up the Nile toward the base of Murchison Falls. Navigate past pods of hippos and giant Nile crocodiles to witness the river’s raw power firsthand. For a breathtaking finale, take the optional hike to the Top of the Falls to feel the earth vibrate as the Nile forces itself through a narrow 7-meter gorge.
